As at 5 april 2019 our gender pay gap was 6.8% against a national average of 17.3%
As at 5 April 2018 our Gender Pay Gap was 4.2% which is 13.7% lower than the national average.

Staff at Rothamsted Research were 54% male and 46% female at 5 April 2017. The gender pay gap for all employees (based on median hourly earnings, excluding overtime and bonuses) was 5.8%, against a national level of 18.4%.
