Our research supports the building of resilient cropping systems at field, farm and landscape scales, employing ecological principles as the foundation of sustainable crop protection. Fundamental to our approach is an integration of experimental lab-to-field and modelling work on ecosystem functions that support production through integrated pest management and protect biodiversity. We act as the key focal point for the Rothamsted Insect Survey NBRI.
