Green Ammonia Fertilizer Policies Workshop: Designing Sustainable Pathways for the UK

The Global Nitrogen Innovation Center for Clean Energy and the Environment (NICCEE) is a global research and innovation network advancing sustainable nitrogen (N) management through science, policy, and industry collaboration. With over 25 partners worldwide, NICCEE focuses on climate-smart nitrogen solutions, including the transformative potential of green ammonia.

This workshop brings together researchers, producers, farmer groups, NGOs, government officials, foundations, and retailers to explore policy frameworks for the sustainable, effective, and equitable adoption of green ammonia fertilizer in the UK. The workshop aims to develop an integrated, multi-sector perspective on green ammonia fertilizer policies through inclusive dialogue. Participants will address the key question:
