Biography

Currently, I am a postdoctoral Research Scientist - Life Cycle Compiler at Rothamsted research in UK. I hold a PhD in “Agricultural and Food Science and Technology” at the University of Lleida with "cum laude" distinction. I conducted my research at the Basque Centre for Climate Change (BC3), in Spain, while I took part in national and international projects. I hold a Master of Science degree in Integrated Planning for Rural Development and Environmental Management, with “cum laude” distinction from the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Zaragoza and an agricultural engineering degree from the National Agronomic Institute of Tunisia.
I worked with agroecosystem modelling approaches with the aim to mitigate climate change at different scales, climatic conditions as well as ecosystem types. Particularly, I hold a solid expertise in statistics with R and programming skills in VBA and Pascal... I also worked a lot with GIS (ArcMap and QGIS) and I acquired knowledge in Remote sensing (e.g., ERDAS) and its application to natural resource management.
