Farming Footprints and Adaptations
Tallula graduated Duchy College with a 1st class degree in BSc Agriculture in 2025. She has achieved a Diploma of HE in Regenerative Food and Farming at Schumacher College in 2024. Under the supervision of Hari Ram Upadhayay she carried out a work placement, and has continued her work at North Wyke in a laboratory technician role. Her role includes working on controlled environment experiments exploring climate stresses effects on crop yields and quality, and participating in national lake and catchment sampling experiments developing a database on sediment yields and sources. She also assists on the NICEE project exploring the effects of fertiliser treatments on grassland and arable plots, as well as within the analytical chemistry laboratory at North Wyke.
In the coming years she aims to continue her work in agricultural sciences and secure a studentship scheme position to complete a PhD relevant to her degree, investigating resilient farming systems and practices.
