Jenny is a field ecologist with key research interests in insect behaviour and the movement and ecology of insects in agricultural landscapes.

Jenny's expertise is in setting up and running large scale field trials using a range of insect sampling and monitoring techniques. She is experienced in insect rearing methods and maintains the honey bee colonies at Rothamsted Research. Jenny has worked on projects which include using harmonic radar to track bees across landscapes, and testing LIDAR field sensors for monitoring and identifying pest and beneficial insects of oilseed rape.
