Chloë Garwood

Chloë is a Scientific Analyst within the Analytical Chemistry Facility, a team providing extraction, digestion and analysis for soil and plant materials as a service in support of the research programmes of the institute and external clients. Chloë joined Rothamsted research in 2017 and has specialised in crop and soil preparation procedures, including nitric/perchloric, microwave and aqua regia digestion methods, and Inductively Coupled Plasma-Optical Emission Spectrometer (ICP-OES) analysis for major and trace elemental analysis of a range of sample digestions and extractions. Chloë also provides OES and colourimetric anion analysis for Rothamsted's Environmental Change Network samples.
