We aim to support local schools by offering classroom activities and talks for all ages, plus pre-arranged visits to our campus for older students considering careers in science. We encourage our scientists to engage directly with schools at all levels; to share their enthusiasm for their research, inspire budding scientists and help teach students more about the importance of creating a more sustainable food system. For keen students in years 12 and 13 wanting to discover more about biological research, we offer a limited number of places on our work experience programme each year.
The PDF's below contain activities & experiments designed by our scientists that you can do in the classroom or at home.
From science and politics to media and trading, agriculture is changing the world and you can be a part of it.
