Bruker Avance NEO 700 MHz magnet

Solid state, equipped with the UK’s first CPMAS cryo-biosolids probe. Available nuclei 1H, 2H, 13C, 15N.

Used for analysis of biomolecules and small molecules in solid biological and environmental materials eg plants, seeds, animals, soil.

Bruker Avance NEO 600 MHz magnet

Solution state, equipped with 3-channel TCI-helium cryoprobe and a SampleJet autosampler. Available nuclei 1H, 2H, 13C, 15N.

Used for high throughput analysis of biomolecules and small molecules in solution. Fully automated 24/7 sample handling of up to 512 individual samples ranging from 1 mm to 5 mm tubes.

Shimadzu Nexera UC Prep SFC/HPLC hybrid system, equipped with a single quad MS (ESI/APCI source) and automated fraction collection

  • Separation, purification, and analysis of low- to medium-polarity small molecules using supercritical fluid and liquid chromatography with targeted detection in complex matrices.
  • Mass guided automated fractionation of complex mixtures (e.g. natural products, synthetic reaction mixtures, environmental samples)
