Biography

Rosie is researching the impacts of climate change on tropical rainforests in the Eastern Arc Mountain of Tanzania. The project aims to understand potential changes in forest structure and tree phenology, and how this may impact the carbon storage abilities of the forests. Rosie will use a combination of statistical modelling and fieldwork to answer her research questions.

Rosie is funded through the Envision DTP and will take part in various training courses to supplement her PhD study. Outside of her PhD project, Rosie is interested in science communication and hopes to develop this skill through her PhD.
