Biography

Liza's research experience has been focused on taxonomy and systematics of aquatic beetles, specifically members of the family Hydrophilidae present in the Neotropical region. At Rothamsted Research, Liza provides technical and scientific support to the plant pathology laboratories, insect gene editing laboratories, and behaviour rooms. Additionally, she assists in maintenance of the core insect collections and of transgenic/gene-edited insects.
