STUDENTSHIP DETAIL

We have an exciting opportunity for an undergraduate student who is about to start their final year of study with a keen interest in analytical chemistry.  We have an 8 week summer studentship (starting August 2021) based in the chemical ecology and wheat pathogenomics group to investigate the interaction between a major UK soil-borne pathogen and beneficial fungi.  The project will focus on identifying the chemistry involved in this interaction as a potential source of new control measure for the disease.  Applicants with a desire to continue onto postgraduate PhD studentship are highly encouraged.

Applicant must be an undergraduate studying in the UK.

Weekly stipend of £270 for up to 8 weeks
