Scientific Technician - Entomologist
Biointeractions and Crop Protection
Todd is a Field Entomologist currently working with Dr. Sam Cook’s team on the EcoStack project. The project aims to provide European farmers with the knowledge and tools needed to maximise ecosystem services (pollination and pest regulation via biocontrol) for the production of crops, while minimising impacts of agriculture and ensuring the profitability of farming. This study will look at both in and off crop habitat and how these can be manipulated to encourage Ecosystem Service Providers. Todd’s main areas of interest lie within insect ecology and population dynamics, with a long-term goal of studying insect interactions within an agroecology setting, having achieved an MSc in Entomology at Harper Adams University, Shropshire.
