BIOGRAPHY

Steve has worked in agricultural research for many years. His key interests include soil science (nutrient turnover/agronomy) and associated ecology of arable and grassland systems. His expertise spans many disciplines, including diagnostic plant pathology/mycology, field trials management, population dynamics and plant/invertebrate taxonomy. He is a very experienced field worker, which encompasses the collection and processing of soil and vegetative samples from the field, as well as the associated management and presentation of generated data. His current role is to provide technical support for the collection and processing of samples generated from the long-term and classical experiments at Rothamsted Research and Woburn. He is responsible for the inclusion of new samples in the Rothamsted archive, as well as the general upkeep of older archive samples. He also helps to deal with internal/external requests for archived samples.
