Biointeractions and Crop Protection
Sheila is an executive/administration assistant. Before joining Rothamsted Research in 2004, she worked in a small building company and later for a large multinational company. Sheila has many years' experience of arranging seminars and meetings, taking minutes, organising travel and diaries, and assisting directors, heads of departments and research scientists. She currently supports and assists members of the Biointeractions and Crop Protection Department, including research staff, students and visiting workers. Smooth running of the department is essential for the scientists to meet their objectives. Sheila is very versatile, helpful and enjoys taking on new tasks and challenges, including helping to run two international scientific meetings in 2013 and 2015.
