Dr NATHAN BROWN
Biointeractions and Crop Protection
Nathan is an epidemiologist at Rothamsted Research, with interests in sustainable woodland management and the use of citizen collected data to monitor disease outbreaks. Recent projects involved the survey and monitoring of Acute Oak Decline in woodlands across the UK. Surveys occur at a range of spatial scales and aim to elucidate both the mechanisms at play within the AOD syndrome and environmental predisposition factors. Currently, his work is focused on understanding the small scale processes within woodland to inform management decisions.
