BIOGRAPHY

Mollie is a PhD student in the Plant Sciences department at Rothamsted Research (Harpenden). Her PhD project is part of the BBSRC-funded SWBio Doctoral Training Programme.   

Her research project investigates the modulation of brassinosteroid-related genes in Arabidopsis thaliana to increase seed yields. She is supervised by Dr Smita Kurup (Rothamsted Research, main supervisor) and Dr James Doughty (University of Bath, academic supervisor).   

Mollie’s interests include developmental biology, molecular biology and strategic agricultural applications.
