Dr MARCELO GIROTTO

BIOGRAPHY

Marcelo is an Agriculture Scientist with Master and Doctorate degree in Crop Protection. He studied his PhD at The University of Western Australia - Australian Herbicide Resistance Initiative (AHRI) with focus on Assessing the potential for resistance evolution to new herbicides before their commercial release in Australia. Marcelo has over 10 years’ experience working in Brazil, Australia and New Zealand, where he was working at Bayer Crop Science. Marcelo is the Field Trials Manager at Rothamsted Research, and his responsibilities include but not limited to manage the field trial programme.
