BIOGRAPHY

Leanne is one of two grant development managers within the research grants office at Rothamsted Research. She provides editorial and technical grant support tailored to individual researchers working at Rothamsted Research. Her work has two key aims: to make the grant-writing process easier for researchers, and to improve the quality and effectiveness of grant applications put forward by the institute.

She is responsible for identifying strategic funding opportunities and helping to align applications to funder priorities. She checks proposals for eligibility, fit-to-call scope and overall clarity, ensuring that applications are accurately completed including appropriate costing for each project. She also offers administrative support relating to funders' submission systems, has oversight of grant submission records for the institute and handles general funding queries.
