Executive Assistant to the Institute Director and Chief Executive
Kerry is executive assistant to the Director, and the first point of contact for both staff at Rothamsted Research and people from outside. Her most important role is managing the Director’s busy, and often hectic schedule. She organises all aspects of global travel requirements, and arranges a range of internal and external meetings on his behalf. Kerry establishes and provides secretarial support for various monthly and quarterly meetings, such as management committee, heads of department meetings and Town Hall meetings. In addition, she maintains the Director’s intranet pages, assists on assigned project tasks involving financial and HR data, and has also been involved in the organisation and administration of large workshops and social events on site. Kerry brings a combination of more than 11 years’ experience as an assistant (from both private and academic sectors) and a Masters in Public Health to her role at the institute.
