Kerria is a Laboratory Analyst within the Analytical Chemistry Unit, a team providing extraction, digestion and analysis for soil and plant materials as a service in support of the research programmes of the Institute and external clients. Kerria’s main activities involve the analysis of Total Nitrogen and Carbon using Leco Combustion Analysers. She is also involved in the extraction of samples for ICP analysis. Kerria joined the Analytical Unit in October 2019 and previously worked in a service laboratory carrying out analysis of a wide range of Volatile Organic Compounds by GCMS Headspace instrumentation.
