BIOGRAPHY

John is a scientific technician working on laboratory, plot, field and farm scale research projects that focus on nutrient cycling through agricultural systems. His work has centred around investigating emissions of ammonia and greenhouse gases from agricultural sources, particularly on the storage of livestock slurry and manures. John also leads research in soils and biology on the North Wyke Farm Platform National Capability. John has an interest in agronomy, and has expertise in nutrient management planning and crop protection. He is a member of the BASIS professional register, and is both a FACTS qualified advisor and holds a BASIS Certificate in crop protection.
