Biointeractions and Crop Protection
George is interested in the interaction between antagonistic bacteria and the wheat fungal pathogen Zymoseptoria tritici. His work involves bioprospecting microbial collections for novel natural chemistry that could be utilised for future crop protection.
His research is funded by the University of Nottingham-Rothamsted BBSRC Doctoral Training Partnership and the Lawes Agricultural Trust.
