BIOGRAPHY
Fergus is a Zoology student from the University of Glasgow undertaking a placement year at Rothamsted as part of an integrated undergraduate masters degree (MSci). His work entails digitising, processing and analysing data from the Highfield and Foster's long-term ley-arable experiments (about which more information can be found at https://www.rothamsted.ac.uk/long-term-experiments).
Among his research interests are forest and freshwater ecosystems, the issue of human-animal conflict, anthropogenic effects on the environment and the concept of "rewilding" with particular regard to its viability and potential effects in native Scottish ecosystems.
