BIOGRAPHY
Fareed is working on the cereal eyespot disease of winter wheat and barley. This project seeks to achieve improved management of cereal eyespot by investigating key knowledge gaps in this pathosystem. Fareed will be looking at the historical long-term eyespot pathogen population dynamics; current roles of the air and soil as sources of eyespot pathogen inoculum and future eyespot disease management: genomics and chemical control.
