Dr ADAM MARINOVIC

Adam is currently managing £1.6 million Agri-Tech Research Innovation Accelerator (AgRIA) funding at Rothamsted Research. The focus is on bringing together businesses and leading academics to work on innovative high-risk projects in agritech. In his previous role as a Knowledge Exchange Manager, Adam helped businesses, researchers and end-users to work with the Satellite Applications Catapult to develop new satellite-based products, services and applications. As a Business Development Associate for science at Queen Mary University of London, he was focused on developing academic research partnerships with businesses and industry, and on commercialising academic research through spinouts and startups. Adam holds a PhD degree in Materials Science from Queen Mary University of London, and an MSc degree in Physics from University of Zagreb in Croatia. Adam is passionate about startups, entrepreneurship, angel and VC investing. Also, he loves cycling, marathons and Formula 1.
