Croprotect is a website and free app providing information to farmers, growers and agronomists on the common pests, weeds and diseases affecting the major UK crops. There is a description and pictures of each pest species with management information which includes cultural control methods for situations where effective pesticides are unavailable and alternative approaches are required. Other features include an articles section for sharing up to date information and a Twitter account. The site was created by Rothamsted Research and is managed and updated by experts from the institute.
