Tool to get best estimate of wheat transcript sequence by combining Triticeae ESTs/mRNAs with rice genes.

If you already know the TIGR rice gene (or to try it out with supplied examples)

  • run main part of WhETS to get alignment and sequences

    • Or start with a set of TIGR rice genes to look at number of associated Triticeae sequences:

  • Count sequences for set of rice genes

    • Or, to first find TIGR rice gene(s)

  • using Arabidopsis gene or set of genes
  • using Triticeae transcript genbank accession number(s)

    • (For for any other sequence, you can find the rice gene id by blasting at TIGR )
