Bioimaging is a core group at Rothamsted Research with state-of-the-art microscopy instrumentation and a wide range of techniques available. These facilities are complemented by our expertise in cell biology.
Our aim is to ensure the production of high quality microscopy image data for research using light, fluorescence and electron microscopes. These results assist with the 'integrative biology' outlook of the Institute.
We actively encourage knowledge transfer by providing the opportunity to researchers and students to train in a wide variety of microscopy techniques. We promote the public understanding of science through cell biology aimed at a range of target audiences including students from local schools.
