This is the front door to pages that list my research in three areas: SADIE, GM crops, General work in Ecology & Biometry

To enter these pages, just click any of the green links below:

SADIE stands for Spatial Analysis by Distance IndicEs.

SADIE logo hyperlinkI developed SADIE to do spatial analysis on data from ecology, especially data in the form of counts at spatially-referenced locations.

To find out more about SADIE, and to enter the main SADIE pages, just click the logo.

My work on GM crops began with the UK Farm Scale Evaluations and led to an interest in bioethics. Click here to learn more about these on my GM pages.

Click here for general information on my research in population dynamics, ecology and biometry.

Sorry...couldn't resist it! This isn't work, but when you are over 50 years old, as I am, you never know, as a batsman, if you will ever get a big score again. Anything over 50 is worth a celebratory jug, so click here to go to an informal cricket page, with links to my favourite clubs.

Rothamsted is the oldest agricultural research institute in the world. I work within the Plant & Invertebrate Ecology (PIE) Department. To find out more about the work of the PIE Department and of Rothamsted generally, click the links on the left-hand side of this page.
