MASTER will address gaps in our knowledge of the natural
enemies through strategic research into:

factors affecting the abundance, phenology, distribution and host
location of natural enemies 

crop colonisation, within-field synchrony, co-incidence of pests and
their natural enemies

effect of physical and chemical cues on habitat and host location by
natural enemies

effect of plant density and host plant architecture on within-plant distribution
of host larvae and their natural enemies

feeding preferences and capacities of key predator species 

farm-scale enhancement, application and dissemination technologies
for key pathogen species
