MASTER will conduct a Europe-wide survey of oilseed rape
farmers to find out about:

their attitudes to different pest management systems

how and why they adopt IPM systems and

how they evaluate cost/benefits

Analyses of grower views will aid the drafting of the Technical 
Guidelines and development and promotion of environmentally-friendly 
sustainable IPM Systems

Conceptual and simulation models will be constructed to examine how 
best to optimise the socio-economic efficacy of the envisaged IPM 
strategies for oilseed rape providing predictive tools to help in evaluation 
of different options.
