The user is guided through the required inputs. The links between the inputs and the programs are represented in the diagram below. The components with a star are optional. The "RotationFields" and "InitialCrops" program are available within LandSFACTS to control the spatial and temporal patterns of crops using statistical tests. The "CropAllocation program" will allocate the crops to fields through the years. If a specific crop allocation does not meet the spatial, temporal constraints or yearly crop proportions, iteration options are used to optimise the crop allocation. Further details are available on the software documentation.
