List of inputs

• Shapefile with fields as polygons - compulsory
• Crop definition: list of all the crops - compulsory
• Crop rotation definition: list of a transition matrices - compulsory
• Assign to fields
  • possible crops: to limit the spatial extent of crops
  • rotations: assign one rotation to each field - compulsory. Possibility of using FieldsRotation program to apply spatial pattern to rotation allocation using specifically designed statistical test.
  • initial crops: assign a crop for each field for the first year - compulsory. Possibility of using InitialCrops program to apply temporal pattern on crops, using specifically designed statistical test.
• Temporal constraints: return period and maximum repetition of crops or group of crops, and forbidden crop sequences
• Spatial constraints: separation distances between crops
• Yearly crop proportions: yearly targets proportion (area) of each crop
• Simulation parameters: years to simulation, constraints to meet - compulsory
• Iteration parameters: control the model behaviour to find crop allocation meeting user's requirements
