Double stranded DNA, dsDNA


DNA, in its normal form is double stranded : the double helix is formed from two antiparallel strands of DNA. Single stranded DNA, ssDNA, is a form obtained by denaturing the two strands, breaking the double helix. RNA is normally single stranded.
