Applications of Molecular Biology Techniques
In these last few chapters, we have learned the basis of DNA manipulation. How to prepare DNA, digest it, and even clone it. These basic techniques are all used in laboratories, and new techniques are always being developed. This page will be updated frequently to reflect the advance of the technology. A chapter about the techniques will describe in detail some of the new techniques, while the project part will give a much broader approach to techniques but will focus on a particular subject and see what techniques are used.
Techniques
- PCR : Polymerase Chain Reaction has allowed a breakthrough in molecular biology. This method is useful to amplify the amount of DNA.
