Enzymes can be selected by clicking on them with the left mouse button. Selected enzymes are shown in white text on a blue background. Only sites of selected enzymes are searched for. Several enzymes can be selected for analysis at the same time.

Enzymes can also be selected according to the length and type of cut they make, or according to the supplier.

The search is started by clicking on the 'Search Start' button and the results are displayed at the bottom of the page.

Normally all enzyme sites that are found will be displayed, but the display can be confined to enzymes which cut a given number of times. This is specified using the max and min number of cuts.

The search may also be made on all or just part of the sequence.
