Dr Chromo's school is a Molecular Biology course for A level students, with a
difference. Clear images, animations, and simple language are used to make
concepts of molecular biology easy to understand.
The material provided covers all molecular biology concepts needed for A level
biology. It is not intended to provide full coverage of the A level biology curriculum.
MBN helps students understand how
molecular biology relates to biology in general and acts as a lynch pin for
the concepts of RNA and DNA studies. Further material has been included which
will take the keen student beyond the needs of A level, into the first year of
a biology degree course.
RESource: the course browserRESource is provided with MBN to display the course material. It is also a web browser. RESource displays a list of topics, and for each topic, a list of pages, making for ease of navigation through the course.
RESource includes a search facility that will create a list of encyclopaedia pages found in a search. This list can be turned into an index for later reference. Individual pages can be bookmarked for future sessions. |
