Arrangements for schools

Rothamsted is the oldest agricultural research centre in the world. Our science supports sustainable agriculture and the environment and ranges from the molecular level to landscape studies. We will be holding our first open weekend for seven years this autumn. Our laboratories and field experiments can be viewed and Rothamsted science explored with the help of interactive exhibits and the scientists involved. There will be much that is of interest to school children, either visiting with their schools or with their families.
