Plant Metabolite Profiling
Research into plant biochemistry is underpinned by accurate analysis of metabolites whether in plant
extracts or in biochemical assays. In our research programmes this is achieved by mass and NMR spectroscopy.
A state-of the-art facility including robotic sample preparation, GC-MS, HPLC-MS and 400MHz FT-NMR
instrumentation is integrated into the group and provides support for many IACR projects and also
is involved in large-scale national projects on plant metabolomics.
