China-UK HUST-RRes Crop Genetic Engineering and Genomics Joint Laboratory has obtained major funding for its scientific research and it will recruit a number of research scientists (staff or post-doc) and several group leaders, working in the following areas: wheat tissue culture and transformation; molecular analysis; gene identification and cloning; functional genomics; gene evolution; protein analysis; field trials; healthy food and transgenic pharmaceuticals and computing/bioinformatics. We are authorised to award the MSc and PhD degrees. Candidates who are interested in plant biotechnology research are warmly welcome to apply for studentships and staff positions.
