BBSRC Microarray Workshop
Methods of analysis and interpretation of microarrray data
20 & 21st September 2004
Rothamsted Research, Harpenden, Herts.

Microarrays have become the standard technique for high-throughput determination of gene expression, but there is still great diversity in the approaches taken in experimental design and analysis. There is a need to identify best practice and standardise. There are also increasing efforts to link gene expression data to genetics, proteomics and metabolomics. These topics are addressed in this workshop by recognised experts in their field.
In recognition of the growing importance of microarray technologies in their currently funded research, BBSRC has kindly sponsored this event which will take place in the Fowden Conference Centre, Rothamsted Research.

Posters (portrait format, maximum size of 90 x 120 cm) on research relevant to the workshop are invited for a poster session to be held on the Monday evening. Posters will be displayed from the Monday afternoon break until the close of the Tuesday session. To submit a poster, send an abstract using the web based abstract submission system. The abstracts (after acceptance) will be published on this web site along with those from the invited speakers.
